EQUIPPING PEOPLE WITH TOOLS TO SUCCEED
The mission of the Panhandle Financial Collaborative-PFC is to increase the financial stability and success of the Texas Panhandle Region. The program is led by seven local stakeholders; Amarillo Area Foundation, Amarillo National Bank, Baptist Community Services, FirstBank Southwest, First Capital Bank, First United Bank, Happy State Bank, and BOC.
This group came together to bring Communities Unlimited to our area. Communities Unlimited is a Non-Profit organization that is dedicated to building up under-resourced communities in many different ways, and we have recently expanded to the Texas Panhandle by an invitation from the Panhandle Financial Collaborative! From Small Business Development and loans to environmental services, and many other services in between, Communities Unlimited wants to make a difference in Amarillo and surrounding areas.
Our Vision
These initiatives and programs encourage innovation across multiple sectors, provide financial support, resources, and technical expertise to create pathways to financial stability and building assets.
