Recognizing a critical need for licensed childcare, the City of Claude and the Claude Economic Development Corporation partnered with Tamra Brannon in 2020 to open Lil’ Colts, a childcare center serving children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. This initiative supports early childhood development and strengthens the local economy by creating jobs, retaining residents, and providing a vital resource for working families, particularly teachers and commuters in Armstrong and surrounding counties.
